Its that time of year again where people get into shape and you cant get into shape without reading up on the latest and greatest methods to do so. This year the buzz at the San Diego Health Awards is all about nutrition. Doctors, trainers, and committed folk like you are stepping it up to get us back into the old school way of doing things, which is still eating right and exercising. Those that received the NIHB from the IHS in the prior years have even more fun and exciting methods to losing weight this year and for certain, the years to come. These innovators and pioneers of health and wellness industry are shaping up their own methods for weight loss so that we might see exactly how its done. Now that is not only old school, but that is just down right committed; I’m sure Arizona Surgeon, Terry Simpson MD would say so himself! Thanks to all the nominees, for without these committed souls who knows how bad the people of our city might be right now. And though they may not be household names, yet, their work behind the scenes goes unnoticed.
The San Diego Health Awards is more than just a show or award ceremony. It is the way the community thanks these dedicated people for their continual pursuit of selflessness. These awards are more than just reminders of our thanks and gratitude for their dedication, but they embody our love for their work as well. Helping people is their main goal and as noble as that is, their true reward is the knowledge that they helped many people live longer and more productive lives. These men and women are at the forefront of today’s epidemics concerning health and wellness, nothing less than soldiers fighting for a cause.
